Gordon's surgery went well.

He is back in a normal room recovering. The surgeon said everything looked good. They put in two disks in the upper part of his neck where he was missing them completely. He will have to have another surgery later to replace some in the upper part of his back. He is in a lot of pain right now, heavily medicated and nauseous. We took the kids up to see him this evening and Gavin asked him why he was wearing a dress. Actually, I think he asked him that same question 3 or 4 times.... Gordon had about two sentences to say and then he was snoring. He is supposed to be released to come home tomorrow if he gets up and moves around enough to please the doctor. You wouldn't know it if you saw him tonight though :)
