Surgery is complete
Annalie just got out of surgery. The surgery went well. The fluid is already starting to drain like it should. She will be in recovery for around 45 minutes. There should be some relief from the pain as early as this evening. The more fluid that drains, the better she will feel. She will be staying in ICU overnight for observation. This is standard procedure for this surgery. She should be going back to her regular room tomorrow and staying 2-3 days. They are looking to schedule the biopsy early next week. Her spirits are up and she says that she has a "sweet peace" about it all and that she is covered by prayer blankets.
