Surgery update

Looks like we are going to be here for a while. The doctors didn't actually get started until after 9:00. They called with another update about 2 hours ago. The doctors are finding that the tumor has grown further into the ventricles than they originally thought. It is going to take more time for the surgery than they estimated. The doctors say she is doing well in the surgery. They are removed a portion of the bone at the base of the skull to access the tumor. They will replace the bone after the surgery. I'll try to keep you updated as we find out more information.
