If I could live my life over

If I could live my life over---there are a few things I would do different.

I would do less criticizing, and more encouraging.

I would tell my children more often how much I love them, and how proud I am of the choices they have made (mostly!) (:-), especially their wives and the grandchildren they have blessed us with.

I would save the arguments for important things; things that affect their character, work ethic, or eternal destiny. Not what they would wear today, whether they cleaned their plate, or scrubbed behind their ears.

I would listen more and advise less.

I would tell my husband EVERY DAY, how fortunate I am to have married him. He has been such a good provider, an encouraging father (I don't think I have ever heard a critical word come out of his mouth), patient beyond measure, and generous to a fault sometimes.

I would read my Bible more, pray more, REALLY work on developing a RELATIONSHIP with Christ sooner.

I would be kinder to those who were not especially kind to me, especially those students I had in school who seemed to get on my VERY LAST NERVE!! I have learned that what goes around, comes around!!

I would choose to have a happy heart!

I would have my grandchildren first!!

So sorry that I haven't checked your blog since the Garden of Hope entries. I really enjoyed being there and seeing your plantings. I have mentioned to others that they need to visit Site 11 on the guide map. :) Things have been hectic at times and sometimes the computer is tied up. Not good reasons. So glad that your latest report was good and that you enjoyed your trip to Niagara Falls. Once again your words strengthen and encourage me. They make ME want to do better and to follow your advice.
Love you my sister friend,
Linda
